Workshop Application

Workshop Eligibility

This workshop is open to undergraduates, graduate students, and post-docs who are active members of NSF Materials Science and Engineering Centers (MRSECs) or Partnerships in Research and Education in Materials centers (PREMs), and to students who have completed an REU at a MRSEC or PREM site.

Application

Applying for this workshop comprises two steps. First, you should fill out the online registration form for the workshop (link below). Then your faculty supervisor should email a one-page nomination letter , including a short description of your qualifications and strengths and explaining how you might benefit from attending the workshop, to pathways@colorado.edu.

2020 Application opens Saturday, 1 February 2020

Expenses

There are no registration fees for this workshop. Participants will be provided with conference materials, meals, and housing. Travel expenses to and from the workshop venue are also covered.

Confirmation

A confirmation message will be emailed to you once your application has been processed. Participants will be selected in spring 2020. If you have any questions about your application, please contact Dakota Nanton (pathways@colorado.edu) or call 303-492-3367.

On-site Check-In

You may check in on-site starting at 4pm on Sunday 16 August.
